HOW TO APPLY

Step 1

  • On the homepage, adjust the sliders to your preferred loan amount and choose a repayment date. From there, you can view the total cost of your loan, including interest and fees.

  • Read & accept the terms and conditions and select Apply to complete the online application

  • Once you have completed the application, you will receive a copy of the loan contract and yourdirect debit authority by email.
Step 2

Once you have applied for your loan, you will need to provide the following supporting documents, so the lending team can begin processing your application. This is only applicable if documents were not attached on step 1

  • Government-issued ID card
  • Proof of current address, such as a recent utility bill
  • Latest Payslips,
  • Your previous 90 days of bank statements
  • Any other document we may request for us to be able to validate the information provided by you.

You can either scan or take clear photos of the documents with your smartphone and email the documentation to service@umsebenzi.co.za


Step 3

  • We check your current employment and pay details. Please let your payroll know that we will be contacting them - this will speed up the process. We also check recent loans you have had to make sure you are eligible. It is important we get all requested documentation so there is no hold up in processing your loan.

  • We operate as responsible lenders, and it is an important part of our loan process to try to make sure the loan repayments are affordable to you without causing undue hardship.

  • Once a decision has been made about your application, we will swiftly advise you.
Step 4

If the loan is approved, we will notify you and then transfer your funds to your bank account overnight OR same time if you’re banking with FNB.
Step 5

  • Your quick payday loan will be repaid by direct debit. If for any reason you are not able to make a repayment, we maybe able to help but a change fee does apply and you must contact us at least 24 hours before your payment is due. If you contact us after this time, we cannot guarantee that a repayment can be stopped.

  • Please note that there are no penalties for repaying early – the shorter the loan term, the less it will cost – so if youare in a position to make an early payment, we encourage you to do so. We are in the business of helping you, not making your financial situation worse!
